Good luck Tom!

Good luck Tom!

We are sad to say goodbye to Tom Sharpe on the 10th of December after 6 years at 3v. Tom will be leaving us to head to the Galapagos National Park to help assist with the conservation of Giant Tortoises!

As a Galapagos Tortoise Centre conservation volunteer, he will work with the Galapagos National Park as a member of the staff at the Tortoise Breeding Centre. This will include:

  • Feeding and caring for the tortoises, as well as maintaining their enclosure.
  • Assisting the Park Rangers with zoo-keeping type activities.
  • Assisting to educate visitors about Giant Tortoises and about the rules and regulations keeping the tortoises safe and the habitats intact.

We thank Tom for his hard work over the last 6 years and wish him well in this exciting new adventure.
